A Few Of Our Favorite Noblesville Portraits

One Photographer for Every Moment in Life.

We want to be your local Noblesville photographer for every milestone in life. That means, getting to know you and your family, so that every time you need a professional portrait photographer, you know we’ll be there for you. We are a full-service portrait studio. That means that we’re here to help you with everything from which outfits work best to deciding how to display these images in your home.

Whether you have a fiance that’s about to become your husband, a new baby on the way, two kids that won’t be in elementary much longer, a senior graduating next year, or a career that is about to take off, we’ve done it all before, and we’ll be right here to help you remember every moment of it!

Logo for Studio Kate Portrait Design. It is made of a thin lined rectangle which encases a large burgundy KATE in an elegant serif font as the tail of the K drops below the box and under the other words. Studio rests above the K interrupting the top line of the rectangle, and Portrait Design fall under the ATE, both in a smaller thin luxuriously modern sans serif font.

Who is behind Studio Kate Portrait Design?

Hi! My name is Katie Plummer. I’ve been working as a professional portrait photographer since 2006. We work primarily with mothers and business-women here in Noblesville to provide them with everything from unbelievable portraits of them with their families, to business headshots, to wedding, maternity, and boudoir images. After years of pouring their efforts into everyone else, our clients often regain confidence in their own beauty and self-image as a direct result of our work.

We work with national insurance business owners like Ashlin Hadden, Fortune 500 company executives like Heidi Motz, local PTO members like Allison Lomelin, top real estate agents like Tammy Savoy, and medical sales professionals like Megan Taylor.

One of the best things about my job is when a new client sees their images for the first time, and then realizes just how beautiful they are. Empowering women of all ages is a great blessing to us. I love that I get to build the confidence of these amazing women, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Why did we choose Noblesville to build our portrait business?

I’m a Hamilton County native, and Noblesville is our home. I grew up on Allisonville Road along the White River and went to high school at Hamilton South Eastern, which everyone around here knows simply as HSE. We just had one Noblesville Miller graduate from NHS in 2022, another one graduating in 2024, and our youngest just started at Noblesville East Middle School, previously attending Promise Road Elementary.

Over the years we’ve had a few different studios in Noblesville, including our first studio, in the old Model Mill building on Mulberry Street.  In the past, we’ve had studio space above Alexander’s ice cream shop, and another one above Kiln Creations. What we’ve found is that we love to be right in the middle of everything and have had the most fun in our studios that sit right on the historic Noblesville square

While we do love Noblesville, we work all over the Indianapolis area, and have done destination photo sessions in all of the surrounding states and as far away as Florida, Colorado, and Texas. Primarily, though, we shoot in the Hamilton County area, including Noblesville, Fishers, Westfield, Carmel, Pendleton, and Fortville. We’ve recently moved into the Gordon building at 9th and Logan right across the street from one of our partners, Smith’s Jewelers, and are very excited about the new possibilities that this new space presents!

What types of photography sessions do we offer?

At our studio, we specialize in creating beautiful, empowering portrait sessions for women. Whether you’re looking for traditional portraits or something a little more creative, we’ve got you covered. We believe that every woman is uniquely beautiful and we strive to capture that through our one-on-one portrait sessions. We love getting to know our clients and have made so many wonderful friendships through our photography journey. We can’t wait to work with you and create some amazing images that showcase your unique beauty. Here are some examples of our most popular sessions.

Engagement sessions in our studio can be anything from full family to full nude. If you like, we’ll even split the session so you can do both! Click here to see some of our best maternity photos.

What should we expect in a photography session?

Every portrait session is different, but our sessions are more like a fashion magazine model shoot than your local JCPenny photo center experience. With optional hair and makeup services, multiple outfits and backgrounds, and lots of local locations to choose from, we know we can create an album full of pictures that are as unique as you and your crew. We know that the best smiles come from genuine laughter, so we always have a few tricks up our sleeves to make this a fun experience for everyone involved.

How much does a portrait photography session cost?

This is a screen capture from a behind the scenes video of our senior portrait session with Megan.

Sessions prices can vary, but standard sessions are typically $199-$399.  You can also add hair & makeup services, home décor consultations, and extended or destination shoots to your session if you choose.  Images and products are then purchased separately when you return to the studio for your ordering session.

We always love to see our families in big, epic art pieces hanging on their walls! We also believe that custom-designed albums are the very best way to archive a variety of images from a session and create an heirloom that will last for generations. With that in mind, our focus is on creating beautiful wall art and albums for your home, but smaller gift prints are also available.  The first step is to reach out to us using this form.

Are we the best photographer in Noblesville?

That’s not really for us to say, but we are members of Professional Photographers of America (PPA), have studied and mentored under some of the best photographers in the country, and continue to work hard to make ourselves better every day. What we can tell you is what a few others have so graciously said about us on Facebook and Google reviews.
